Blake Fussell is a multimedia creative from Memphis, Tennessee. He worked in traditional journalism from 2017-2022.
You may recognize Blake from his work found in the Daily Helmsman, East Arkansas News-Leader, Memphis Health+Fitness magazine, Germantown News, Christian Post, Montana Standard, Billings Gazette, Sarasota Observer and DeSoto Times-Tribune.
After some soul-searching, Blake stepped away from traditional journalism and started this blog. He hopes to better meet his goals as a writer through the added creative freedom.
As stated, this blog contains mostly opinion columns focused on things Blake cares about – mental health, philosophy, local and national politics.
